Minister of Foreign Affairs oversees the conclusion of a training session for African diplomats in Tunisia

Mohamed Ali Nafti, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, chaired the conclusion of a training session for African diplomats accredited in Tunisia on Friday. The training, which took place at the International Diplomatic Academy from December 9 to 13, aimed to foster cooperation and the exchange of expertise between Tunisia and African countries in the field of diplomacy.

In his speech, the Minister emphasized the important role of the academy as a center of knowledge that contributes to enhancing international and regional cooperation, particularly strengthening Tunisia’s relationships with its partners, especially in Africa and the Arab world. He also noted that the academy’s mission is to promote mutual understanding among different countries to achieve security, peace, and fair development.


The Minister also handed over certificates to the participants in the training, in the presence of prominent figures including Mohamed Ben Ayad, Secretary of State, Mohand Saleh Laajouzi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, and Mohamed Belidi, Director-General of the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation.

This training session is part of efforts to strengthen African cooperation and support the diplomatic mechanisms that contribute to the development of relations between Tunisia and its international partners.
